Asus Zenfone Max 2016: Asus India Today (Monday) launched a new variant of its flagship smartphone in India – the ZenFone Max 2016 smartphone. The Handset now comes in two Storage options and some upgraded features. The smartphone will be available with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 12,999 respectively Via. Asus Zenfone Max 2016 Launched in India Starting at Rs. 9,999
Specifications: The new Asus ZenFone Max 2016 Handset will be available two storage options – 2GB RAM at Rs. 9,999 and 3GB RAM come with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The new version is powered by a new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.5GHz and equipped with a 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.
The New smartphone supports dual-SIM and run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Operating system, the earlier version of ZenFone Max runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The company has also said that the new handset will be available in two new colours – Blue and Orange. The 2GB of RAM version is now available to buy via Flipkart while the 3GB RAM variant is listed as coming soon on the e-commerce website.
The new ASUS ZenFone Max 2016 sports a 13-Megapixel rear camera with f/2.0-aperture, dual-LED flash and the ASUS PixelMaster 2.0 technology. The Laser AF helps to focus on an object in less than 0.03 seconds. The handset also sports 5-Megapixel Secondary front-facing camera with f/2.0-aperture on board. The Handset features a 5.5-inch HD IPS TFT 720×1280 pixels resolution display.
Coming to the connectivity options, the new Zenfone Max 2016 includes 2G/3G/4G-LTE, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The New version of this smartphone also packs a huge non-removable 5000mAh battery as the original version. which the company says can work as a power bank for other devices. The company claims that the ZenFone Max 2016 can deliver up to 914 hours of standby time and up to 38 hours of talk time.
